Student Rush tickets will be available during the run of The Glass Menagerie, according to Willits Community Theatre Managing Director Amythyst Romero.

“We’re going to try Student Rush and see how it goes,” said Romero. “We’re hoping it will grow into a popular way for young people to see our shows without them having to pay full price.“ Here’s how it will work. If seats are available at the stated time for the show to begin, those seats can be sold to students 18 years old and younger for $5.

The classic American play The Glass Menagerie was written by Tennessee Williams and is being directed by Michael Ducharme. It stars Kate Magruder, Sonja Burgal, Joshua Sternberg, Schuyler Marcier, and Aris Vellis. It opens Friday April 12.

 

The play begins at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights and at 2 p.m. on Sunday afternoons. Tickets are available on the WCT website, wctperformingartscenter.org, or at the door.
